(PRWEB) December 13, 2004 -- RR Satellite Communications (RRSAT) in Israel was originally designed to play out only three channels. It has recently been extended to control a total of 43 channels said Alex Amizur, vice president engineering, RR Satellite Communications. “However because of the station’s continued success we needed to expand this to incorporate more channels. Pebble Beach provided the perfect opportunity for us to upgrade our system to a Neptune multi-channel system which allowed us more device control and playout capabilities. ”Now RR Satellite Communication's playout facility operates on 24/7 basis more than 40 TV channels and the planed capacity is for more than 100 TV channels. Most of the TV channels use "RRSAT Global Network" as their tool of global distribution via satellites all over the world.

“We are delighted at the volume of international sales,” said Peter Hajittofi, managing director, Pebble Beach Systems. “It proves once again that our new generation of automation products are meeting customer expectations all over the world. Broadcasters want highly configurable, user friendly, cost-effective, reliable and future proof systems.”

Over the last six months, Pebble Beach Systems has received several key orders for its Anemone and Neptune automation products from broadcasters around the world. These include Rhein-Main TV in Germany, Télé Toulouse in France, RR Satellite Communications in Israel and EMAP Performance Television in the UK.
