Award-Winning Television Producer Joins Western Sports and Lifestyle Programming Developer’s Media Broadcasting Committee


Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 24, 2004 -— Gold Buckle Media (www.goldbucklemedia.com) announced today that accomplished television producer Bruce Warner has joined the company’s Key Industry Advisory Board Media Broadcasting Committee. Mr. Warner will work with company management to develop high-quality Western sports and lifestyle television programming.

Mr. Warner has served as Director of Photography for such broadcast clients as ESPN, Harpo Productions/The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Discovery Channel Canada, BRAVO the Film & Arts Network, The Independent Film Channel, Speedvision Cable Network, Madison Square Garden (MSG) Television, Nostalgia Television, Good Life TV, and selected PBS and network stations throughout the country. He was also Director of Photography for The Independent Film Channel from 1998–2001 at the International Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

One of two managing partners of Dallas-based WPI Productions, Inc. since its inception in 1990, Bruce Warner possesses an accomplished television production background. Mr. Warner is a North Texas State University Film and Television school graduate (1977) who has spent the past 14 years as an independent television and video producer. His many television production accolades include Telly Awards, National Videographer Awards, the National Educational Media Network Apple Award, the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival Award, and several Aegis Awards.

The Media Broadcasting Committee has been established to assist the company in identifying and producing original Western lifestyle television programming, filming and airing rodeo and bull riding events nationwide, and reviewing and recommending strategies relating to content distribution and advertising arrangements.

Gold Buckle Media has created a new national television channel to satisfy significant market demand for a media outlet providing Western sports, music, and lifestyle programming. Available nationwide via cable and satellite in autumn 2004, the channel will produce, air, and market a wide variety of popular Western lifestyle programming, including live and taped bull riding and equestrian events, outdoor sports, talk shows and documentaries, reality shows, music videos, concerts, behind-the-scenes shows, and high-definition television (HDTV) specials.
